Ninety years, one family.

A stall on Ridley Road
In the early 1930s, Louis Posner begins selling fabrics at a stall in East London's Ridley Road market. His characteristic smile makes him well known among the traders.

The first premises
Louis, alongside his brothers, moves into their first premises in East London and begins the window dressing service that would carry the family name.

The South Woodford showroom
As the business grows, several more shops follow, including the South Woodford showroom, which opens in 1952 and remains the home of Posner Interiors today.

The second generation
Louis passes the business to his son Austin, who, alongside his wife Karen, has run the company since 1973, growing its reputation across the country.

The third generation
Son James, interior designer and owner, now carries the business forward, keeping the values and level of service the family has held for over 80 years.
